Who is the Clumps Summer Club for?
Anyone aged 8 to 12. Don’t worry if you don’t know anyone else coming, most people come on their own and soon make friends. Children who require extra support are welcome to attend but may need to bring their own carer. Please ring to discuss details.

What to bring?
You will need to wear old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. You will also need sensible outdoor footwear for walking around the Nature Reserve. Please bring waterproofs just in case and sun cream and a hat if it is really hot. You will need a packed lunch and drink for lunchtime.

Parental Involvement
Parents are welcome to come along to the Clumps Spring Club by appointment. Staff will be available for feedback at the end of each day.

Behaviour
A high standard of behaviour based on mutual respect is expected. The staff will arrange for children who behave unacceptably to be sent home.

Little Wittenham Nature Reserve is within easy reach of Didcot, Abingdon and Oxford. There is a wide range of beautiful countryside to enjoy and explore, from woodlands and ponds to an Iron Age hill fort!

The Clumps Summer Club gives 8 to 12 year olds the chance to enjoy being out of doors in a friendly and interesting environment. Expert staff and excellent facilities help to bring the countryside “alive” in a fun way.

Every day there will be a good mix of “hands on” educational activity. There will always be a great variety of things to do, something for everyone.
