Facts about archaeology in the Little Wittenham area
- Volunteers have helped Oxford Archaeology to excavate the area around the Wittenham Clumps, the site of settlements for more than a thousand years. Preliminary reports on the 2003 and 2004 excavations can be downloaded from the Oxford Archaeology.

- There are nearly 40 museums around Oxfordshire which are open to the public.
