KS2 Art and Literacy

Here are some examples of what your class can do at the Northmoor Trust. Remember these are just a few of the options that are available.
To discuss your needs telephone the Education Team on 01865 409408

Be inspired by the landscape
Children become reporters for the day, gathering evidence to find the facts behind sensational headlines. The end of the session will be spent using computers to produce a front page for a newspaper.

Art Days
A chance to use natural materials to create something special.
Throughout the day pupils will be given the chance to use the outdoors to gain inspiration before creating their own piece of work. They will be encouraged to notice and use shape, pattern, colour, texture, line, tone, form and space .To work on their own and collaborate with others on projects in 2 and 3D, and on different scales.

Crafty Creations from Mosaics
Have a go at craft techniques used by people through time, make a mosaic, weave a piece of cloth, spin some wool, make some felt or weave a basket. Collect all you need from the reserve and create something special.
