Conservation
Biodiversity is the total variety of all living things, including all plants and animals, as well as the places and spaces in which they live.
Over 100 species have been lost in the UK in the last century.
It's vital that we try to conserve the earth's biodiversity for the future.
You can help conserve the earth's biodiversity by supporting local, national and international conservation organisations.
Make A Difference Locally
Get involved with local conservation tasks where you live. Scrub clearance, coppicing, clearing, planting, removing invasive plant species or sowing seeds are all tasks you can get involved with to help the country's biodiversity.
