Church Meadow
Church Meadow offers fine views of the River Thames and Day’s Lock. The ponds at the site entrance provide an important habitat for the rare Great Crested Newt that breeds on the Little Wittenham Nature Reserve. Newt traps are installed around the pond allowing us to monitor the newt’s health and track their movements.
